It has been 20 years since the Humans successfully repelled the Terauman attack that threatened the future of Earth. However, the Human's joy in victory was overshadowed by the death and destruction that was its price. A mournful peace settled upon the Earth. Slowly, the Humans became worried that another attack may be imminent; that they were open to invasion by other races; that their peace would be short lived. So a decision was made that would secure Humanities position in the galaxy. All of the Earths resources were poured into the production of a vast armada to search for threats in neighbouring systems and nullify them. Soon they found the homeworld of the Terauman and destroyed it without mercy.
But the Human's paranoia was unappeased. Wherever they looked in the galaxy they saw enemies, and the witch-hunt went on.
And so the Human fleet found its way to the home worlds of the Kaiyodo, your home. It is your mission to help stop the invasion and defeat the Human Forces. You will pilot a variety of craft in order to conquer the might of the Earth force. This fight is for your continued existence.

AIRCRAFT CONTROLS
With the default controller setup, the Mouse controls the direction in which the piloted craft will face. The W key accelerates the craft and the S key decelerates it. By holding the decelerate key when at a stop, it is possible to reverse your craft. Mouse Button 1 will fire your Primary Weapon, and Mouse Button 2 your Secondary. The A and D keys can be used to strafe the craft left and right, and the E and Q keys strafe the craft up and down.
TRACKED TANK CONTROLS
When in control of a tank, the W key is used to accelerate, and the S key to decelerate. The A key will turn the vehicle to the left, and the D key to the right. Turret aiming is controlled via the Mouse. Tanks primary fire button is defaulted to Mouse Button 1.
HOVER TANK CONTROLS
Hover tank control is similar to that of tracked tanks. The main difference is that the hover tank can slide sideways to avoid enemy fire. This is achieved by using the strafe keys [default Q and E].
BALLISTIC WEAPONS CONTROLS
Most Heavy Tanks will be equipped with impact shells. These ballistic weapons have a unique control method. The Mouse controls the direction and elevation of the turret as normal; however, the power of the shot can be controlled using the fire key. As you hold down the fire key, a power bar will be shown at the bottom right of the HUD. Also, a target area will be shown on the landscape, to indicate the location that the shell will land.
TURRET CONTROLS
The turret can be moved left, right, up and down using the A, D, W and S keys respectively. The Mouse controls the movement of the crosshair. The primary weapon can be fired using Mouse Button 1.
SHIFT CONTROLS
You can choose to trigger certain commands using shifted functions. This is useful if you are using devices with limited buttons, such as gamepads or joysticks.
In aircraft, holding down the Shift command will change the directional controls into strafe controls.
In tanks and gun-turrets, holding down the Shift command will make the directional controls move the aiming crosshair.
The Shift command can be redefined to any key or controller button in the Customise Controls section of the options menu.
The default gamepad or joystick setups use shift functions as described above.

HINTS AND TIPS
--------------
Here are a few tips to help you get started with Incoming Forces.
1 Play training missions to learn about wingmen, refit bases, transferring craft and more.
2 Always keep an eye on your damage levels. If you see that you are close to being destroyed, head for a refit base. Alternatively, transfer to a friendly unit that has higher shield levels.
3 It's important to master dog fighting if you are to survive for any length of time. Keep moving at all times to avoid enemy fire. Also avoid flying head-on at enemies. Try to manoeuvre behind enemy craft to more easily destroy them.
4 If you find you are being attacked by an enemy who is not in view, a quick glace at your radar can often reveal their position, making them easy to locate. Your radar is a useful tool when combating multiple enemies.
